Student’s Hobby Clubs
Creative minds grow with creative recreations.

At SID, our students have formed various group activities that facilitate their creative stimuli to actively contribute in various events to enhance their talents in the areas of Photography, Sports, Animation, Performing Arts, Film Making, Graphics, Trekking, etc.

The student council members of every class help to enhance the study ambience in co-ordination with the teaching staff.

These activities also enable to maintain intercollegiate relationships that heighten the student's team spirit qualities.

Fundamental Annual Fest
Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) organizes a festival called ‘FUNDAMENTAL’.

It states that every funda has its own mental side. Design is anything which has a funda behind it, or is just a random illustration. Fundamental came into existence in 2006 and each year has been coming up with new, crazy and successful ideas. It is a platform which promotes design awareness in India.

SID believes in encouraging young minds to come forward to showcase their creativity and celebrate the festival which does exactly the same. The festival of fundamental is for four days. We have four different names for per day of the festival. In these four days we arrange different games according to the name of the particular day. Outside college students are also invited to participate in various inter college competitions. The fest has a perfect end. The prizes are distributed to eager winners and the baton of responsibility for Fundamental is passed on to the next core team.

Sports Activities
Young students are always energetic. Sports and games are effective ways to channelize this energy for productive and meaningful purpose. Regular sports activity is essential for physical, mental, psychological and social development.

Our vision is One Student - One Sport.

Symbiosis Institute of Design, Viman Nagar campus and girl's hostels are well equipped with facility of Football ground, Concreted basketball court, Skating ring, Volleyball court, throw ball court and three table tennis positions along with modern gymnasium. Girl's hostel is also supported with Badminton court and table tennis along with indoor games facilities like Chess and Carom etc. We are set to be centre of excellence for Basketball. To enhance and organize Sports activity in students along with infrastructure and availability of kits, every institution have Sport Committee which comprises Staff Sports Coordinator and Student Sports representatives (Male and Female) along with support staff.

Every single student is encouraged to play at least one game which can be credited in their academic performance
